Position Summary:
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at PosAbilities, you will play a crucial role in implementing ABA programs. Your responsibilities include observing and measuring behavior, collecting data, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with children, be patient, open-minded, and possess a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans and learning programs under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to track progress and modify plans as needed.
- Conduct parent training to support skill development during typical family activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service activities on a service summary form.
- Attend mandatory and refresher training sessions.
- Report critical incidents and safety concerns promptly.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
Position Requirements:
- RBT certification or the ability to obtain it within 30-90 days of employment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal relationship skills.
- Willingness to embrace instruction and pursue continued learning opportunities.
- Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team and a desire to work with young children.
- Reliable attendance record.
- Valid Virginia driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of full coverage on the employee’s personal automobile.
- Availability to work at least 20 hours, Monday-Friday pm, and Saturdays 9-12pm as needed.
