Position Overview:
As a BCBA with us, you'll spearhead transformative programs catering to individuals across the autism spectrum and other developmental diversities. From pioneering Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention for young learners to delivering specialized services for adults, your expertise will drive impactful change in the lives of those we serve. You'll lead and define various group sessions and programs, including "Summer At PosAbilities," "Beginnings At PosAbilities," and a diverse range of social groups, each tailored to meet the unique needs of our participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the development and execution of various group sessions and programs, including "Summer At PosAbilities," "Beginnings At PosAbilities," and a variety of social groups, ensuring alignment with individualized education plans and developmental needs.
- Design, facilitate, and conduct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) training sessions within group settings, employing cutting-edge techniques such as discrete trial training and natural environment teaching.
- Provide invaluable support to clients and families participating in group programs, connecting them with resources and offering ongoing assistance tailored to their needs.
- Deliver direct instructional support within group contexts, supervising group activities, and providing hands-on training.
- Develop assessment tools, conduct comprehensive functional assessments, and devise effective behavior strategies within the group framework.
- Provide continuous training and supervision to support staff and paraprofessionals involved, ensuring the highest standards of care and program effectiveness.
- Establish robust data collection systems to evaluate the efficacy of group programs and drive evidence-based decision-making for ongoing improvements.
- Create targeted behavior plans focused on skill development and behavior modification within the group dynamic as well as for individualized treatment.
- Offer expert consultation services and maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders, including adults receiving therapeutic support within group settings.
- Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in the field, engaging in ongoing education to maintain BCBA certification.
- Manage documentation efficiently and foster seamless communication between group participants, families, and relevant agencies.
